AD CCT a division of AD International develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of metal surface pre-treatment chemicals used in continuous manufacturing processes including Thin Organic Coatings.

Thin Organic Coatings (TOC’s) are applied in a continuous process on hot-dip galvanized steel strip, Galvalume®, Aluzinc, ZAM, zinkmagnesium and other metal substrates. TOC’s can offer a wide range of benefits; from anti-fingerprint properties to improving forming, increasing mechanical scratch resistance, and enabling enhanced corrosion protection.

AD CCT produces a range of PrimeCoat® TOC’s, that have proven capabilities at low coating thickness of 1 micron or less and are fully compliant with environmental regulations and customer EH&S requirements. When compared to traditional TOC’s, this lower coating thickness offers significant benefits in subsequent processes, such as welding, that are taking place at the end users.

PrimeCoat® TOC product lines

  • PrimeCoat® Z93x-series, based on trivalent chrome TOC. Performs well on most common zinc-coated steel types such as Zinc, Mg-Al-Zn, Galvalume, Galfan, Galvanealed
  • PrimeCoat® Z90x-series, complete chrome free TOC. Product can be used both as a TOC and by using a different concentration as a passivaton
  • PrimeCoat® COLOR TOC-series, add color to your TOC enalbing the Z93x-series or Z90x-series to be used as a final finish
